Modular Archive is Jack Fresia’s personal space where the aim is to release all the songs and tracks that for some reason ended up ‘in the archive’. Many tracks did not fit the current goal he set himself on his main label Modular Side Music, or they were simply more a musical exercise and exploration rather than finalized tracks. After many years of filling up folders with concepts and ideas he decided that it would be a waste not to release his efforts to the public.

Modular Archive has three EP releases scheduled, each released four weeks apart. With each EP he will establish the fundaments of what will become the vision of the label.

As a first release in this series we start with a dance floor oriented six tracker ‘Steel’.

Subsequent releases in this series may detach more and more from the club environment and explore broader applications of electronic music.
